Touchnote for Mobile launches on the iPhone

Published 22nd September 2009

21st September, 2009 - Touchnote, the company that turns your digital pictures into real postcards, this week announced the launch of its Touchnote for Mobile application on the Apple App Store. Touchnote’s application lets you capture a personal moment with a picture and create a real postcard that you can share with your friends and family anywhere in the world.

With the Touchnote app, simply take a photo or select an existing image from your iPhone, add a message and the recipient’s address and send it directly to Touchnote via WiFi or a mobile data connection. Touchnote then creates a physical postcard from the image and messages and ships it by first class mail from the USA or UK.

The Touchnote app features an intuitive interface that guides you through the step-by-step process of customising an image, writing a message and selecting a recipient.

“Everybody loves to share photos and send postcards. We’ve recognised that people want to do more with the photos that they’ve taken on their iPhone, and show their friends and family what they’re up to”, said Raam Thakrar, CEO of Touchnote. “As a result we’ve launched Touchnote for iPhone which combines the ease of use, speed and personalisation possible in the virtual world with a physical memento. With our app, it’s really easy to send photo-postcards on the move.”

Touchnote for Mobile will be available as a free download at the Apple App Store from Friday, September 18th at:
